Izabella N. Bartolome, M.S., CCC-SLP, TSSLD

Izabella Bartolome is a licensed speech-language pathologist based in Brooklyn, NY, providing care across the lifespan, from early childhood through geriatric populations. She earned her Master of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from New York University after receiving her Bachelor of Science from Southeastern University.

Izabella's clinical experience spans home care, private practice, school settings, and hospital outpatient centers. With adult and geriatric patients, she treats a wide range of neurogenic and rehabilitative needs, including dysarthria, apraxia, aphasia, cognitive-communication disorders, voice disorders, and dysphagia resulting from stroke, traumatic brain injury, Parkinson's disease, dementia, and head and neck cancer. She is a certified LSVT LOUD clinician and has administered respiratory muscle strength training and conducted Modified Barium Swallow Studies as part of her swallowing and voice work.

Izabella created The Speech and Language Practice to be a place where patients of all ages receive effective, compassionate care. Every session is designed to be a time when each patient is heard, encouraged, and equipped. Therapy isn't meant to be an endless pursuit. It's a focused season of work on specific goals. In Izabella's view, therapy succeeds when you walk away with the confidence, the understanding, and the toolbox to keep tackling every concern you came in with.
